Who can use the MTC Library?

Anyone can use the library, but only faculty, staff or students of Midlands Technical College can check out books.   

Do I need a library card?

No. Show your MTC I.D. card or another picture ID, such as your driver's license to the library staff member checking out your books.

What do I do when the book or journal I'm looking for is not on the shelf?

The best thing to do is ask for help from a library staff member. Sometimes books and journals get shelved wrong. Also, look at the library catalog to be sure the book or journal is not on the opposite campus.

Can I order books from the other campus?

Yes. Give a library staff member the call number and title of the items you want. Please allow at least 24 hours for an item to be delivered.
